Nelly obtained her B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from the Department of Biotechnology and Food Engineering at the Technion in 2024. For her final research project, she developed and characterized a photo-bio-electrochemical cell for light-driven NADPH regeneration and enantioselective imine reduction. She is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Materials Engineering at the Technion under the supervision of Prof. Alejandro Sosnik, where her research focuses on synthesizing nanoparticles for sonodynamic therapy to enhance treatment strategies for neuroblastoma.
