Rational design of bismuth telluride based compounds for thermoelectric efficiency enhancement.

My research focuses on rational design of Bismuth telluride nanowires (Bi2Te3-NWs) doped with magnetic elements, aimed at increasing their power factor. Bismuth telluride based compounds are a narrow gap layered semiconducting materials that have been recognized as the most important group of thermoelectric materials for power generation and cooling close to room temperature.
