Dhiraj holds his bachelor’s degree in chemistry (2019) from Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly the University of Pune). Later, he pursued a master’s degree in Polymer Science from the same university. Afterward, Dhiraj joined the National Chemical Laboratory in Pune, India, where he worked on the design and development of a Polymeric nano drug delivery system for colon cancer treatment and oil-based gels. Currently, Dhiraj is pursuing a Dual Ph.D. under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action program of the doctoral network TheraTools under the supervision of Prof. Alejandro Sosnik and Dr. Ana Beloqui (POLYMAT/University of the Basque Country, San Sebastian, Spain). Dhiraj investigates “Peptide shuttle-modified self-assembled nanocarriers for actively targeting glioblastoma cancer cells”. After the first two years at Technion, he moved to the University of the Basque Country to complete his dual degree.
