Dhiraj holds his bachelor’s degree in chemistry (2019) from Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly the University of Pune). Later, he pursued a master’s degree in Polymer Science from the same university. Afterward, Dhiraj joined the National Chemical Laboratory in Pune, India, where he worked on the design and development of a Polymeric nano drug delivery system for colon cancer treatment and oil-based gels. Currently, Dhiraj is pursuing a Dual Ph.D. under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action program of the doctoral network TheraTools under the supervision of Prof. Alejandro Sosnik and Dr. Ana Beloqui (POLYMAT/University of the Basque Country, San Sebastian, Spain). Dhiraj investigates “Peptide shuttle-modified self-assembled nanocarriers for actively targeting glioblastoma cancer cells” and after the first two years at the Technion, he will move to the University of the Basque Country for one year, where he will finish his dual degree.
