Dareen obtained B.Sc. in Materials Engineering and Chemistry from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Technion in 2020, For her final research project, she investigated the effect of carbon nanotube substrates on the Raman and photoluminescence emission of monolayer two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) in the laboratory of Prof. Elad Koren. After graduating, she began working at PCB-Technologies Ltd, and in 2022, she returned to the faculty to pursue an M.Sc. in Materials Science and Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Alejandro Sosnik, focusing on polyelectrolyte complexes for the encapsulation and delivery of siRNA for breast cancer treatment.
